Finally, I cook again...:D
I've known about this recipe since last year but I didn't attempt to cook it until today.
Turned out all right. おいしいよ。。。
Pointers for next time:
- Should steam the potato longer. It was a bit too hard.
- Should flip the meat faster to get a golden brown color.
- Onion gravy was not too gravy. Should add more onion,soy sauce and butter.
- Wanna be able to chop onion like the lady in video.

1 Onion (200g/7.05 oz) - 2/3 for hamburg meat mixture, 1/3 for onion sauce
1 tbsp Olive Oil
150g Broccoli (5.29 oz)
1 Steamed Potato (160g/5.64 oz)
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 Tomato
250g Mixture of Ground Beef and Pork (8.82 oz) - beef : pork=7 : 3
1/3 tsp Salt
A pinch of Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
2/3 Fried Onion
15g Panko - Breadcrumbs (0.53 oz)
2 tbsp Milk
1 Egg
- Onion Gravy -
1/3 Fried Onion
50ml Water (1.69 fl. oz)
1 1/2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Mirin
1 clove of Grated Garlic
10g Butter (0.353 oz)
Grated Daikon Radish
Shiso Leaves
Ponzu - Japanese Citrus-Based Sauce
** Removing the air from the meat mixture will prevent it from breaking into pieces while being cooked.
